The can designs on IPAs have always intrigued me, so I took a stab at designing one myself. Mad Dawg Brewing Co. was inspired by a nickname of mine given to me by my boss and it just stuck around. Fully leaning into the "mad dog" motif, I wanted to hand letter a type for the wordmark. I chose to tap into, however unsavory this might be, the imagery of saliva to match the snarling dog logomark.
